boarditup
Federal Regulation - July 1st is the new model year for boats. If there will be a new hull, it will be ready for production then.
Baller ForrestGump Posted May 23, 2013 Baller Share Posted May 23, 2013 As I understand it, that USCG regulation is that a given model year production cannot begin until then. You can have a boat ready for model year production any time after that.
Baller_ The_MS Posted July 13, 2013 Baller_ Share Posted July 13, 2013 Great, another overpriced, over sized ski boat with a wake board rack on it.
Baller Brady Posted July 13, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 13, 2013 @MS Have to say, I like my 04 better! Better lines and all!
Baller gregy Posted July 13, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 13, 2013 Hope that's not the new prostar. That thing is ugly!
Baller gregy Posted July 13, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 13, 2013 Just looked at MC website: The 2014 line up is here: http://www.mastercraft.com/boat/grid There's a PS214V no direct drives.
Baller BraceMaker Posted July 13, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 13, 2013 @gregy - word from MC marketing is cool your horses it will show up when it is released
Baller Mateo_Vargas Posted July 13, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 13, 2013 I have the first picture of the narrower bare bones boat.
Baller jipster43 Posted July 13, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 13, 2013 @scotchipman that looks like a v-drive, so I'm praying that's not the new prostar.
Baller Brady Posted July 14, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 14, 2013 @gregy I saw that too this week. I think they are not done with the development yet. If this is the direction they are going, I will be changing to Malibu!!!! Sheesh, I will never live that one down. @rodltg2, that actually looks like a model and not a real boat. Other than the tower, the windshield and a few other things, like the design, I actually like it!
Baller rodltg2 Posted July 14, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 14, 2013 That picture is really old. Maybe close to 10 years.
Baller MattP Posted July 15, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 15, 2013 @rico yes. Sport 200 and 214V are tournament approved I believe. Though I highly doubt the new boat is a V drive. They will release it when it's time.
Baller webbdawg99 Posted July 16, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 16, 2013 The Infinity ZX-1 was a tournament approved v-drive. But the engine was mounted like a direct drive inboard
Baller swc5150 Posted July 16, 2013 Author Baller Share Posted July 16, 2013 Will we see the new boat in August? I found myself dreaming about it last night, which I suppose is a little odd.
Baller ForrestGump Posted July 16, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 16, 2013 That picture was a concept boat when the 214v was being developed. I believe the tower wasn't even functional and made out of plastic.
Baller GregHind Posted July 30, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 30, 2013 Boat details will be released on August 7th! See mastercraft team talk for details
