Yes, Merry Christmas to all. Let's be thankful to be in a position to enjoy this sport and also give thanks to those close to us who sacrifice so that we may do so. Also thanks to each other and to Horton for providing a place to hang out and share our passion for slalom skiing. You guys (and gals) rock...Merry Christmas! Here's to the hope that we collectively kick some butt in the New Year...PB's for all my friends!

Twas the day before Christmas and all through the land

visions of spring time were close at hand

The wet suits were hung by the chimney with care

in hopes they will dry in the warm cracklin air

The children were snuggled all warm in their towels

While the motor had stopped it's long daily growls

Mom in a BOS tee and me in my cap

had just finished skiing and needed a nap

When out on the lake there arose such a clatter

I sprang from my boat seat and said "what's the matter"

Away to the dock I flew with a dash

hitting the throttle and arrived in a flash

When what to my wonderus eyes should appear

But a jolly old man pulled by 8 boating deer.

He was riding a Goode kicking high sprays

Cleaning the course. This red buoy maze.

He whistled, and shouted, and call'd them by name:

"Now! Dasher, now! Dancer, now! Prancer and Vixen,

"On! Comet, on! Cupid, on! Donner and Blitzen;

"I need perfect times so you'd better well listen"

The deer set the cruise to 55k.

Which is 34 here in the US of A.

He rounded ball one early and wide

Then stacked like John Horton wants us to ride

Ball 2, ball 3, ball 4 looking fine

He was making this pass on such a short line

He cleared ball six and just made the gate

making Pros look silly considering his weight

When asked what that was he said "43".

It was the right loop.. but how could this be

But I heard him exclaim, ere he skied out of sight —

Merry Christmas to Ballers, and ski the course right.
