SWS
Herb Obrien gave us the ski personally because we do clinics up at radar, but since there is no sticker for serial number because it was a gift, we dont know the flex pattern! eddie_roberts_jr
The ski can be brought out to Radar Lake where it was built and we'll flex test it and let you know if you like.
AggieSkier
@Horton Eddie should get an Industry Leader tag or something other than Baller @eddie roberts jr. I built a flex tester and have a simple question. When you measure the ski flex, do you record the scale measurement when the ski initially reaches the .1" deflection or do you flex ski to .10" and then allow the scale to settle to a static number? Seems like a couple of pounds difference. Thanks
eddie_roberts_jr
We make erasable marks on the bottom of the ski at 17, 25, 33 and 41", put the ski on the jack then zero the scale. Then we crank the jack up while slightly deflecting the ski until the scale reads 60 lbs., then re-set the scale to zero, note where the dial indicator is and go all the way around again to the same spot we started. Make any sense?
