Its a man make lake that was designed for rowing, skiing, dragon boat and kayak racing. If the world cup committee is bringing slalom to the site you can be assured it is going to be somewhat decent conditions. Today I cut and pasted the exact wording Matt had in that order and somehow that got me closer. Previously I had searched for Palembang Jakabaring Sport Complex. That I think is the lake that @ski4xtc noted above, at least, that is the same lake I came up with, before seeing the post above, so that makes two independent hits on that lake.
