Mustaches are terrible but cancer is worse. Just a few bucks here and there will help.

None of us need look very far to find a way in which cancer has affected our lives. In similar thought, we needn't look very far to see how someone with a badass upper lip dressing has inspired us in some fashion. Not only is this hairy addition to my face earning me accolades and knowing head nods, it's also raising money to fund prostate cancer research. I'm going to keep feeding this mustache for the remainder of the month, so help us gain a foothold on this disease. Really, even a dollar will help in the big picture.
See you guys in the water.

TF, thanks for your fundraising efforts and thanks for bringing awareness to prostate cancer. I am 53 and had my prostate removed 10 months ago. I highly encourage Ballers to do regular PSA testing (once a year) if you are over 50, and if you have family history start much earlier. Early detection is huge, especially if you want to avoid advanced stages of cancer. With early detection the removal and recovery process is not that big a deal, especially if you keep yourself in good shape. There is a lot of discussion in the news about the value of PSA tests, I think they are important as they allow you to establish a baseline for future comparison. Interesting data point, 1 out of 9 women will get breast cancer, 1 out of 8 men will get prostate cancer.

Don't stick your head in the "buoy", be proactive with regular testing.

Let's donate and do our best to find a way to rid ourselves of the scourge of any kind of cancer. My dad's best friend passed today from melanoma and an ex girlfriend of mine passed from lymphoma a couple of weeks ago. We spent hundreds of billions dropping bombs in the middle east and asia over the last 11 years, but the US spends only $5 Billion a year on cancer research. Not nearly enough.

Guys. The support through the Balllers has been incredible, and further cements my home here at BOS. Unreal, and thanks to everyone that has stepped up so far, and to those that will this week. I'm aiming for $1000, and we're halfway there. It's crazy, we saving our own lives... Lets do this. My top donator will be offered a free video coaching session or a day skiing with me here in Texas. Lets make change (to both the disease and your skiing.)

It's official guys,... The last day. Lets make a move today. This is our last chance to get in on this fundraising program this year. I'm gonna wear this thing til midnight, unless we reach 1000$. If we do, I'm growing this lip blanket til spring. Last chance. Thanks.

Ok. We are at 860 (gulp). Hoping for 999$ at this point. But, I did say every dollar counts. If we pull 1000$ I'll be looking like a modern-day Bob LaPoint by the Malibu Open, but I'll commit if we pull this off. Can't believe the support guys, lets save some lives.

Damn. Dammit. Ok. 1000$ realized and I'm straight porno-ready til spring. You guys are amazing. On the fence as to whether your gesture indicates you like me or hate me, but either way we raised some serious cash. Thanks guys. I'll update with some pics of this beauty.
