rodltg2
I have a buddy considering one , anyone know how this boat performs. I am assuming it must be somewhat good if Jamie and Chris skied behind them .
Administrators Horton Posted November 13, 2012 Administrators Share Posted November 13, 2012 Is that the slalom boat? I have heard it is OK but would not take it over the big 3 Quote Support BallOfSpray by supporting the companies that support BallOfSpray California Ski Ranch ☆ Connelly ☆ Denali ☆ Eden Lake ☆ Goode ☆ HO Syndicate ☆MasterCraft ☆ Masterline ☆ Pentalogo ☆ Performance Ski and Surf ☆ Reflex ☆ Radar ☆ Rodics OffCourse ☆ S Lines ☆ Stokes About Horton
Baller Wish Posted November 13, 2012 Baller Share Posted November 13, 2012 Skied behind Chris'. While I'd like to say it was great, I cannot. Had a bump at 28. Ok maybe not a bump but stiff wakes. Woke me up in a big way going through the gates. It's big and roomy. Price seams fare. Didn't ski it long line but got better as line got shorter. Agree with @Horton unless it's just stupid cheap compared to the big 3.
gregy
I had a thread here earlier this year asking about the 20 I, which I think is pretty much the same. Researching them seemed they had hard wakes and were one of the heaviest inboard ski boats. I think Tiges are well built boats though. Baller Garn Posted November 14, 2012 Baller Share Posted November 14, 2012 Doesn't it have a little bit higher sidewalls? That would be good for someone who also takes their boat out to bigger lakes such as Lake Powell. Wouldn't it handle rought water better? Baller Wish Posted November 14, 2012 Baller Share Posted November 14, 2012 @Garn sidewalls are very high. Strangely so. Felt weird. I would assume u would get used to it and feel like your gonna fall out o other boats. Overall the boat was nice. Just had a stiff wake. Was told I'd get used to it after a couple passes and I did. Reminded me of the wakes behind a Sanger I used to ski. Small but hard. Like hitting a small curb....twice.
Baller MattP Posted November 14, 2012 Baller Share Posted November 14, 2012 Chris Rossi is still sponsored by Tigé. He is ranked 6th in the world.
