Members ski4xtc
Saw several tweets that JT, Smith and Asher all ran -41 off in the record tournament today. One tweet said said Asher got 2 @ -43. Does that tie the record? Any more known details? Great skiing!

Members ski4xtc
@Mattp, isn't Parrish's record 2 @ -43? So Asher tied it? Hope there was video this time.
Baller MattP Posted November 12, 2012 Baller Share Posted November 12, 2012 Yes, the current Open Men's record is 2@9.75 or 43off that he set in 2010 at Ski Ranch in Covington, La. If the video is in Wills favor this time he will he a co-record holder

Texas6
Incredible! Three skiers getting through 41 is unprecented. Hard to tell from the video, but it appears Malibu may get some world record bragging rights.
Baller rodb Posted November 12, 2012 Baller Share Posted November 12, 2012 John Sheeley driving all 3 41s. Nice job John
webbdawg99
I bet the folks over at HO are pretty excited. 2 of the 3 41's were on the new A3 (unless it's the prototype A4 that is). That's a pretty impressive showing for the new ski! Willly ties the world record and Travers improved his PB by 2.5 balls! The A3 is looking mighty tempting to this 36 mph skier!! jrs
Thanks Rod, the great skiing became contagious. I was just fortunate to be in the driver's seat at the right time.
JohnCox
Well, dang....I skied in that tournament, and watched all three of those guys get in to 41 in the first round. I left after I skied in the second round for my 9 hour drive....and missed them in the second round.
