Baller jayski Posted November 5, 2012 Baller Share Posted November 5, 2012 Just wondering if anyone has tried a Neutral Goode, any model and if any comaprison to specific LFF/RFF models...Having trouble buying in to the LFF/RFF scenario. Have skied on 4 different models of Goode's over the last few years, all LFF and one experiment on a RFF and none have given me as good of off side turns or equal turns both sides as the Elite or Fusion. Thinking a neutral lay up may be the answer??
Baller A_B Posted November 5, 2012 Baller Share Posted November 5, 2012 My LFF friend tried my RFF 9900 and loved it. Skied 4@38 within the first week on it, which bumped his PB by 1.5.
Baller Chef23 Posted November 6, 2012 Baller Share Posted November 6, 2012 The Fires are all neutral and ski great.
Baller Drago Posted November 6, 2012 Baller Share Posted November 6, 2012 I have heard several credible stories like AB's.
Baller ForrestGump Posted November 6, 2012 Baller Share Posted November 6, 2012 I couldn't tell a difference between my friends 9960 Left ski and my Fire last year. Skied the same on both.

madcityskier
I had a few friends who used to ski the asymetrical MasterCraft ski (whatever that was called). After they demo'd and bought that, it was usually one set on my LaPointe Pro that would get them to change over. I'm not saying there's nothing to it, I'm just not sure that there is. Baller thager Posted November 6, 2012 Baller Share Posted November 6, 2012 Probably the best ski I ever owned (for me) was a Mastercraft Super Pro tuned by Kris LaPoint for my RFF deep shortline bud. I am LFF and loved it.
Baller estrom Posted November 6, 2012 Baller Share Posted November 6, 2012 @madcityskier, that brings back memories. Some friends of ours owned a ski shop and we took all the top skis at the time (obrien, kidder redline, connelly hp, etc...) out for one day. We didn't fuss with settings, just put 'em on and ski'd for hours. The Mastercraft LaPoint Pro blew them all away, at least for my skiing style. That was a fun ski!
