The Bubble butt Nautique can certainly be done for less than 20....Bruce B has one and I have one done by Jody (It's my favorite). The boat skis as good as anything out there for slalom all the way to 41. We have an 07 SN 196 also and switch back and forth all the time. The bubble butt is lighter and a lot quicker.

I say you do the older MC since nobody seems to have done one yet!

So, I could pull my 225 hour GT40, drop it in my 93 SN and sell it. Then, get an engine and ZO in the bubble butt. I'm becoming a bigger fan of that idea, the more I read these threads.

Skiing behind and driving a 2014 Prostar with a 343, it feels like it has no balls, compared to the GT40. @liquid d and @Bruce_Butterfield , what engine did you guys go with and what has been your experience with it over the previous engine?
