He doesn't mention it there, but Chris has now lost both the father and uncle whom he notes were his original inspiration. Makes me angry when bad things happen to good people. It's worth noting how every skier in here started out as a hacker as opposed to being born into tournament skiing. It emphasizes the importance of keeping competitive water skiing in the public eye. Saw him at the Vermont tourny and although ill, he looked to be in good spirits. You could tell the Rossi's were soaking in the moments with him.
