Baller ForrestGump Posted September 27, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 27, 2012 Plus the hair provides a great counterweight to the camera, giving a stable core platform for @Horton to use when aiming. As long as there is no wind. As the wind speed increases, so does drag on the hair, negating said counterweight. Unless of course if @Horton has his hair up in his BOS hat. Then you have to factor in the lessened drag on hair, and increased drag on the hat brim. There are some pretty significant mathematical equations that get employed here. I'd suggest a shot of tequila before getting out the calculator.

GaryWilkinson
Nice! You'll love having that full extra stop. Thanks
Spesh
Nice photos Horton. I also have the D7000, which I regularly use for snapping waterskiing. I use the Nikkor 17-55mm f2.8 for shooting around the dock and clubhouse and the Sigma 120-300 f2.8 OS for shooting skiing from the bank of the lake (that Sigma lens is awesome btw). Like you, I will be buying the 70-200 VR II in the new year. Really looking forward to using that next summer.
