Photos Day 2 Diablo Shores

I was curious to see what the skiers were riding and how they stayed focused prior to skiing. I went down to the starting dock to take some photos. The Open Women skiers were kind enough to let me take some photos. I stayed through the Legends and the first few Open Men Skiers.

It is very difficult to get good photos on the dock with the boat coming and going, rope handlers and judges.

Reflex seemed to be the most popular front binding, followed by Goode Powershells. Skis were all different brands.

Geena Krueger (no relation to Freddy and family) set a pending German Record on a Sans Rival.

OK, I have a pair of trunks exactly like the ones Mapple had on back in my drawer at home -- hardly ever wear them. If I knew that was where 39 off came from I'd have worn them every set!

I do too, but I have yet to run 39. The funny thing is I call 'em my 38 off shorts b/c most often when I get thru, those are the shorts I'm wearing!
