Baller Than_Bogan Posted September 20, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 20, 2012 @Mr.Jones Well, that's not totally off the topic. It's clearly accurate to say the skier is MORE important than the ski, but it's incorrect to interpret that to mean that the ski doesn't matter at all. Baller Stevie Boy Posted September 20, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 20, 2012 Hmm, when I do nothing and let the ski do it, it,s great, when I intervene and do stuff, it all goes down hill.
JohnCox
Last year when I saw Jeff ski at Trophy, that was the first time I had seen him ski in about 20 years. He looks like the same skier....Since, I think I have seen him ski in 14 rounds in 6 tournaments, and I haven't seen him miss, plus seen him run 41 three times. That is incredible. As for the ski, I don't think it's any particular secret for him, and he's not "unveiling" anything. I think he just found one of his old skis that works for him, and that's what he rides on. It's simple - he likes it. Heck, I've had a good look at it, and have no idea what it is.

theinvisiblesoul
Agreed with Mr Jones. Jeff can ride anything. I have skied with him and more than once grabbed his ski and strapped it on and got no more buoys than before on my ski. I've watched him grind, file and flex test skis set after set, no name....just a ski. What helps you ski the best is skiing with the best, learning how they do what they do, listening and applying. Jeff is always willing to teach. coaching@jeffrodgers.net
