The_MS
I met MWski this weekend and if you are looking for a 196, this is the one. Looks like it is on the showroom floor.
Baller jedgell Posted September 11, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 11, 2012 If a 2006 has the Digital Throttle Control, is it ready for ZO? Can you have the computer flashed and add ZO, or do you need a new one? I've seen several for sale, and would be awesome if it's an easy upgrade. Thanks
Baller ForrestGump Posted September 11, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 11, 2012 2006 and earlier will need the ECM and engine wiring harness replaced. Up until some point in 2007, CC used the Delphi MEFI ECM and not the eControls ECM. Not a hard upgrade.
The_MS
@Jody or @inboardfix can answer better than me but it can be done on any 5.7 PCM 350 block from 2002-2009.
Baller elr Posted September 11, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 11, 2012 IIRC correctly there are some later 06's that are VERY easy to upgrade - I talked to the CC factory when I was buying my boat and remember them saying to get the SN and call them for what exactly was required. If I were selling an '06 I would make the call.
