Any Anesthesiologist Ballers Here?

My Wife is an M.D. anesthesiologist and the hospital just yanked her groups contract away from them.

We live on a ski lake in Kansas but we will be moving soon. We are looking to move to another ski lake anywhere

in the US. If there is anyone that knows of Anesthesia Jobs near a ski lake community or ski club let me know.

www.sanmarcosriverranch.com is near a bunch of medical centers in san mcaros, san antonio and austin. It is a pretty big area for medicine I believe and there is a nice new big hospital in san marcos.

Placid Waters is near the Medical Mile in Grand Rapids, MI. Spectrum Health, Metro Health, MSU Medical School, and a host of surgical practices in the area. Low cost of living, great schools, good quality of life.

Boat in water in mid-April and haul out the day after Thanksgiving. Snowboarding the rest of the year.

We are in a class 1 wind area - very little wind, primarily from the West. Lakes oriented N/S. Perfect conditions with the exception of a strong due North or South wind.

lots of ski lakes in Indiana and a great malpractice climate as malpractice awards are capped. I'm on vacation next week with an Anesthesiologist- I'll ask him about any openings.

mb - I am about 45 mins SW of Chicago and one of my neighbors is a Nurse Anesthetist. I live on a very nice ski lake with slalom and jump. Lake as limited home lots with lake rights for skiing. We now have 5 homeowners (counting me) who are avid skiers, with 3 of us doing some tournaments.

There are several very good hospitals very close to us, including one that just opened within the past year (I have even used them already - unfortunately).

Doubt you've ever heard of it, but the medical community is an unusually large % of the economy in Tyler, TX. Three large hospitals serving a community of 100K. Our ski club probably has the least expensive rates in the world with two courses, one on a private (to watersports riders) golf course lake with a helluva view.

 

80 miles from DFW and great real estate prices.

Wow! Thanks for all of the help. All of these areas are great. We will need a good lead on a job before I get my hopes up on any one area.

Texas Medical Center in Southeast Houston has the largest concentration of hospitals and health institutions(over 50 now) in one area in the world. 30 min drive to Ski Texas. 30 min to Lago Santa Fe. 45 minutes to Lakes at Katy.
