Skihack
In an effort to get some skiers to ski with chest open to the boat a little more and leaning away from the boat being light on the line and not leaning way back, I put them on the course on a wake board. This takes some time, but I swear it works. Just slow the boat down and run the course on a wake board. It really improves your skiing. And the offside turn and pull is wicked with your toes pointed away from the boat. But, it really improves your on side turns and pulls in that it gets you used to sking away from the boat and with your chest up and open.
Baller MattP Posted June 30, 2012 Baller Share Posted June 30, 2012 Ummmm what's a wakeboard? I know people who ride their jumpers up to their max speed in the course before getting on their slalom ski. I think @shaneh does it.
Baller ForrestGump Posted June 30, 2012 Baller Share Posted June 30, 2012 Yep, one of the best things I've done for slalom is running the slalom course on my big 90 inch jump ski up to 34mph.
