Members ktm300
Anybody have the translation from flat to slot? Thanks. Trying to hit the .740 flat number with a slot caliper.
Baller Ed_Johnson Posted June 27, 2012 Baller Share Posted June 27, 2012 Make sure you zero out the slot first to the back of the fin. Then slide it to the back of the ski and you will have your number.
Members ktm300
Thanks for your response Ed. I really meant that if you have .740 flat with the head of a regular caliper what would the measurement be in slot-ese. May be a moot point as I burned some sets last night and think I have found the right DFT. Still would be curious to see what others get in the translation. My current slot number is .763 Of course, I hear that the slot calipers all yield different numbers.
