Members SkiJay
I'm not sure who won this battle. My daughter chopped the log in half with her fin, but the log gave my daughter a solid body slam. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1530989/Waterskiing/BOS/IMG_0860.JPG

Members SkiJay
@OB Wow, good eye! This picture was taken after we'd cruised back to the dock, and contrary to the WakeGate's label, lifting the WakeGate OUT of the water (jump/trick position) allows a faster, more fuel efficient cruise. (Does anyone here know why they labeled it this way?) As for my daughter, she was winded but otherwise uninjured (oh to be young again), and incredibly, neither the ski nor the fin showed any damage, although the fin was back and shallower by a couple thou. Fortunately the log had been in the water for a long time. All the same, I've never seen anyone go down that suddenly before. Kinda scary!
Members SkiJay
@Horton that is sort of insane This was an accident. That you would think we did this on purpose is a riot! You must hang with an "interesting" crowd.
