Glock
OK, now that I have my new boat, Mastercraft X7, I need to get the right equipment for the job. I currently have a 67" Radar MPD. I am 6'3" tall and currently weigh about 210. I was 190 two years ago before our son was born. I hope to get back there sooner than later but think a 200lb sweet spot will probably work. That said, I feel like the 67" ski may be a little small. I skied the course yesterday, ran a couple 22s at 34mph, but it wasn't very pretty. I am thinking about a Vice or S2 but would consider other skis or models. What do you all think about the ski choice and most important, what size? The Vice is available all the way up to 69" while the S2 is only available in 67.5 wide at the longest. I would preferably buy something used off of ski-it-again, so trying the skis out may not be an option.
WBLskier
My dad is about 205lbs, tried my strada and thought it wasn't enough ski. He is rocking it on a 67" Senate C. Same shape as the strada but 0.2" wider from what I understand.
Members Steven_Haines
A 68 Strada would probably be a good choice or there was someone saying they have a 67.5 S2 on here some where for $950. Either ski would work well for you. Both are very stable and skier friendly!
Chef23
I am about 215 and am skiing on a 68.75" A1 right now although I got it when I weighed 240. I am interested in trying a S1 though.
Baller Wish Posted June 8, 2012 Baller Share Posted June 8, 2012 There are soooo many good deals on Ski-it-Again right now. It would almost be better to go on there, select some in your price range and then ask here for opinions. But I would go bigger than a 67 for sure at your height and weight. If you sort the skies by "Make" up at the top, you will find it much easier to go though the skies and compare prices ski to ski.
