I could've purchased a new '94 Prostar 190 carryover in '95 at cost, as I worked at the dealership. We bought a '95 instead. I didn't appreciate at the time, how good of a boat that '94 was.

With all the "bring back the 196" discussions we've had since 2010, I'm starting to think MC would see a good boost sales by just re-issuing the '91-'94 Prostar

This may be out there but the Supra Comp ts6m was a great driver and short line boat. It was a sports car on the water and looked fantastic just sitting in the water (minus the rainbow stripe). If that hull had been tweaked for a good 15 or 22 line and a MPI engine dropped in, it would still be top notch.

It was '95 when they fixed the shortline spray, but ruined the handling. The '95-'97 boats were nice to ski behind, but handled like a Bayliner, with a crazy amount of body roll. Of course, they fixed that in '98, but ruined everything else:(
