There's this story about the early days of AM skis that didn't make it in the interview because Adam does not think it is as funny as I do. When I went to Orlando last September I met with Adam and Andy at the lake. They were doing fin testing that day. When I say testing fins, I mean testing all kind of crazy crap. Old drop through fins that have to be adjusted by putting shims on top of the ski. They were using coins as shims. Andy would try a fin and then have Adam try it plus or minus dime or quarter. After a disastrous experiment the joke was "that is too much change”.
