Baller MattP Posted May 10, 2012 Baller Share Posted May 10, 2012 @usaski1 I would take a look at the Radar Lyric 65'' $300 blank get a front Lyric binding($165) and a RTP($63), recommended ski speed is 28-34 and the Radar P-6 65" is 24-30mph $250. Talk to Tommy over at http://www.gettommys.com/ they can hook you up! needs double boot No one needs a double boot, especially if they are just learning

Baller skibug Posted May 10, 2012 Baller Share Posted May 10, 2012 If you can find a 65.5" 2005 - 2006 D3 X5 in good condition, that might be a good option as well. I personally have experience with a couple of women on this ski. I remember when I was researching skis; I got a lot of feedback on this ski for women in particular. It is very stable, rides deeper in the water, turns without effort. Just my $.
boarditup
Another vote for the Lyric. FWIW, many wakeboarders have a much easier time getting up and starting out with double boots. The toe loop tends to weird them out at the start.
Baller Wish Posted May 10, 2012 Baller Share Posted May 10, 2012 HO Couture. Link is a good explanation of the ski design. Price is close for full set up. Probably can get it cheaper. Step bottom is great. http://www.bartswatersports.com/catalog/Slalom_Water_Skis/HO_Couture_Slalom_Water_Ski_2012_HH2272/index.asp

Baller davemac Posted May 30, 2012 Baller Share Posted May 30, 2012 Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe in year 2011 the Lyric,Senates,Theory, & P6 were updated construction
