Taelan28
Months ago I asked the best way to carry a ski on a motorcycle. I didnt like the answers too much but I found a way. I cut traffic way to much to lay the ski across the back and I dont trust korean drivers AT ALL. So far only once has the ski cought wind and flew sideways and I've gotten a lot better and finding the right technique to tying it to the bike. So far 850 kilometers and no issues. Btw, a shop worker said Will Asher was coming to Korea in June, anyone know about this?

Taelan28
I saw that picture yesterday, That was actually one of my ideas. I dont have the backpack to do that and I dont trust plastic buckles to withstand 70mph winds for 4 hours.
Rich
That looks pretty scary! I'm working on a fix for my Ducati Monster. I would love to see posts from others that want to carry a ski on thier bikes!
Taelan28
I think your best bet is to strap it on your back like in the picture.
Baller vtjc Posted May 7, 2012 Baller Share Posted May 7, 2012 I saw somebody using this http://2x2cycles.com/products/bicycle-rack/ to carry a mtn bike the other day. Perhaps the Golf Bag mount http://2x2cycles.com/products/golf-bag-carrier/ could be re-purposed to carry a waterski.
ODBF
@mattp does the ski swing at all in the wind? I have been trying to figure this one out as well.

Essvar
When the ski lashed to your back is worth more than the bike you are riding........ :)
