Baller Stevie Boy Posted May 7, 2012 Baller Share Posted May 7, 2012 Hi Guy,s & Gals, so what do we consider to be the top three skis for 34 MPH,
Taelan28
I can only say what I ride, an Elite.
markchilcutt
I would say the Strada then the Strada and third would be the strada!!!!
Chef23
If you look at the Big Dawgs a lot of them are on Goodes. I have heard good things about the S2 also.
skihart
S1 or S2.....but I have to admit I have never tried the A1 or A2.
Baller jayski Posted May 7, 2012 Baller Share Posted May 7, 2012 Elite, Goode, A1
Members jcamp
5 of the 6 Big Dawg championships have been won on Goodes. The exception was Badal in 07. Not sure which HO model he was on.
Members bigtex2011
i think Goode has been on top for a while, however looking at the sites that i ski at here in Dallas, it appears the a2 and the fusion are topping the charts.
markchilcutt
@stevie Boy you need to ask yourself if price is a concern then go from there (goodie skis are a lot o money )? Like @scotchipman said go do some demoing and decide from there.
Members skidawg
@bigtex2011.....D3 and ho are all over the 34mph scene. The fusion is GREAT at 34.
Baller ForrestGump Posted May 7, 2012 Baller Share Posted May 7, 2012 The top 3 on the 34mph scene are the Goode MId, HO A2, and D3 Fusion. Those are what the elite guys are riding for the most part. You might have an Elite or a Strada, but they are few and far between. The S2 is a relatively new ski and people are just starting to try it out. I'm sure we'll see some out there this year. Baller MrJones Posted May 7, 2012 Baller Share Posted May 7, 2012 Agree with Shane. I do admit that I am not buying into the 34 mph ski deal. If it is the correct size and fit for your style it should work at any speed. (Stiffness could be thrown in there as a variable as well.)
Members Steven_Haines
If you're looking to buy a 34 mph ski, make sure that you demo the S2. As the water warms Im finding that the S2 turns and burns! It's really fun!
Members The_MS
The company with the best marketing will have the skis on the podium. Tate was ripping 39 on a Syncro Danos won a BD stop on an old 9400 Tynan/larson rip it up on X5s Johnson was still on the RS1 Lucky could run 39 on a Schnitz ski These guys can ski on most skis that you put under them. The question really is, what is the best ski for Joe blow 34 MPH skier?
Members skidawg
@MS...execellent point, D3's are very easy to ride, easy to set up great customer service and well built! Can't believe I'm giving MS props,

mkerzie
I think Goode makes an amzing ski. Although most people I ski with are on a D3..
