One of the side affects to having your lymph nodes removed do to Malignant Melanoma surgery is the occasional bought of cellulitis. My right leg, where the nodes were removed in the groin, is susceptible to this skin infection. This intern cause a fever and my leg turns bright red, swells and has to stay up. Kinda ironic, the very thing that Skeirpalooza is bringing awareness to - Melanoma - is what's keeping me from being able to go. Sucks very much. Hopefully will be ok for tomorrow.
