Baller Lieutenant Dan Posted March 21, 2012 Baller Share Posted March 21, 2012 Vacationing in the Sarasota area next week and thinking of bringing my ski so that the early season conditioning I've started to build doesn't go away. McCormick's appears to be the closest ski school....only about an hour or so. I could sneak out early a couple of days, get in a few sets, and be back before my two teenage sons get out of bed at noon. Anyone have any experience with McCormick's to share? Good, bad, indifferent? Other suggestions for sites close to Sarasota/Tampa?
Industry Professional brooks Posted March 21, 2012 Industry Professional Share Posted March 21, 2012 McCormicks is good, Parker Staver is the main one coaching there and he knows his stuff. Good ski lake, new Ski Nautiques, good coach, can't go wrong.
Baller skibug Posted March 21, 2012 Baller Share Posted March 21, 2012 I have skied there. I would recomend it based on my experience. I think you can just gets some pulls there without coaching as well.
Big_G
I skied there 3 years ago, it was great, good water, good boats, good coaches and Mike Mccormick is a great guy. Highly recommend going there. Wish I was going there again.

Baller TNh2oskier Posted March 22, 2012 Baller Share Posted March 22, 2012 Easily worth the trip, Parker is a good coach, if your looking for that and the place is pretty laid back.
