Intermediate, cheap ski needed

My son called me from Bennett's. One of his collegiate teammates is looking for an intermediate level slalom ski cheap (college kid, no money). 68 inches would be about the right size. He is skiing slower speeds (starting at 28mph, 15 off). He'd love to get something this week or next. Anybody have something in the garage they want to get rid of?

Jim - tell him to look in the storage room under the pro shop - lot's of old stuff in there. Might find something suitable. I'm sure there is some of my stuff from 25 years ago!!

I have a 68" Schnitz Animal with about 60 holes in it that someone gave me 20 years ago. Never rode it, but if I can find it I will sell it cheap! Also don't ride the 67" Duval 1050S under the Bennett's pro shop. It was soft when I rode it in '96. Probably worse now:).

Darn, was holding on to my HO VTR & my Conelly HP forever. Looking to give them away. Hung them up in the garage a couple of months ago w/ some big honking lag bolts I had laying around, oh well.

I have a 67" CDX1 that had the tail repaired several years ago. My wife skied on it a few times, but inherited a prototype Monza and the CDX1 had been gathering dust ever since.

@Razorskier I have a 68" white top Nomad I skied on forever. The fin block is a little jammed up from the salt but it's free for an aspiring bouyhead.

I have a mid 80s vintage Connelly HP in great shape with a large boot and RTP if that would work for you. I will let it go for $50 shipped ( that will just about cover shipping).

@Wish I have an HO Odyssey which is a 63" wide ride ski that my kids learned to ski the course on. It was great for the kids at slower speeds. I can probably come up with a small binding and an RTP for it. The ski has an older HO hole pattern.
