Baller WBLskier Posted February 20, 2012 Baller Share Posted February 20, 2012 This may be a dumb question, but I am going to ask it anyway. We ski with a group of guys ranging from age 20 to about 75. None of us are currently competing. I would like to devise a handicap system that would factor in the age and boat speed differences so that we can compare how we are doing against each other for fun. I assume someone has already done this. If so, can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
Baller ral Posted February 20, 2012 Baller Share Posted February 20, 2012 Most of the effective handicap systems rely on comparing with PB rather than age and boat speed.

Baller WBLskier Posted February 20, 2012 Author Baller Share Posted February 20, 2012 Does anyone have a spreadsheet or something that you can plug personal bests into to compute the handicaps?
Baller ral Posted February 20, 2012 Baller Share Posted February 20, 2012 @Horton, I think I wrote too quickly. You are right, the system I saw working was used in Australia, and considered a moving average of the scores over the last two years I think.
