Anyone able to compare D3Fusion and the D3 Z7st @34mph?? Liked the Z7st but did not ride Fusion. @Sully what size is yours?

@skidawg thanks. I'll have to try one cause I felt very comfortable on the Z and felt it was very fast under foot and enjoyed the way it stayed infront of me.

Fusion (D3, not spinal) rocks! I was very happy with the Z7 ST, but I think the Fusion is way better.

 

Still cannot drive my car, so the boat has to wait a couple of weeks I guess. It looks like recovery is going very well, doing lots of aerobics (still zero torso/arm exercises for the moment), sleeping without the neckbrace for one week now. Arm strenght and movement is back in my right arm.

Yep Richard, I am on the D3 Fusion now. I had to do something, stiches in my shin six times this summer has drawn me to the nice smooth predictable turns of the Fusion.

 

Wish its a 68", wanna give it a ride or two in January?

RAL, what is the total planned recovery time for your fusion (neck).

X rays need to confirm the fusion. First timeframe I got from the doc was 3 months. But this was before the surgery, when he was trying to lower my anxiety. Will ask again on Monday on my check.

Will be extremely happy if it is March. Before that it is not even in my wildest dreams. And if if is next season, next season it is...

what ski & fin Ed?? 2.50 and 6.82 on a D3 fin yields a fin area of 11.600 which is really low. maybe for someone 140 lbs. That will be much too loose for me (175lbs). D3 fins have the extra vent so they need to be set a bit longer to equal a standard 5 hole.

 

This morning's set was really good, best this year by far, so I am very close to where I need to be with this ski.

 

I might just drop in a regular five hole fin.
