Baller scuppers Posted November 22, 2011 Baller Share Posted November 22, 2011 I wanted a G-10 plate to mount my Stradas on. Called Mike Erb in Boosier City LA and in 4 days I was installing it on the ski. Great service, great product. Perfect. Also, thanks to Jack Middleton for the referral. Baller Dirt Posted November 22, 2011 Baller Share Posted November 22, 2011 You have to let him know you want the holes drilled. Mine is money. He hooked me up with great service also.
Baller Dirt Posted November 22, 2011 Baller Share Posted November 22, 2011 He may not have the pattern for Stradas. It is easy to drill yourself. Call Mike. He can explain how to do it.
Baller ForrestGump Posted November 22, 2011 Baller Share Posted November 22, 2011 I believe that typically Mike doesn't like to drill the holes without the boots in hand.
Baller scuppers Posted November 23, 2011 Author Baller Share Posted November 23, 2011 Mike sent some specially machined screws with a point on them. You screw them into the bottom of the boot, position everything, give the plate a little tap with a rubber hammer and the screws mark the plate perfectly. Drill them out and then you can counter bore for the stock tapered head screws or use a thing called a truss head screw. Very clean set up!
