Ham_Wallace
Show up with a 96" 3-Event bag that weighs 79.9 pounds and see what Delta does to your wallet. The Southwest guys are way more sympathetic to your wallet. They don't charge excess baggage about half the time. Delta takes a pound of flesh! Baller skidawg Posted August 2, 2011 Baller Share Posted August 2, 2011 I remember the same scenerio years ago when I was three eventing. I saw a baggage guy chunk a slalom on the belt with no regard, He then proceeded to do the same with my three event bag and came up lame, had to get someone over to help :-)
Baller Than_Bogan Posted August 2, 2011 Baller Share Posted August 2, 2011 I'd call that Gentile on the Airline Scale. I've seen luggage thrown from one level to another, dropping several feet onto something with little give. It's weird any time you watch baggage being handled. It almost seems like they are making a special effort to treat stuff as roughly as possible.
