I didn't ski with him, but when I went to ski and pick it up I listened to him talk to the skiers. He said that the same skiers consistently win and bring home the trophies because they all do the same thing, regardless of form or style They lean, they carry the handle with them out of the whitewater on the outbound side, they go edge to edge and only use the turn to connect the two leans, and they keep their chin above their hips and not forward or behind it.
