Minor problem, but why do I have to log in twice every time?

It happens to me too on one of my computers, but not the other, so i assumed it was a computer setting.  I checked the "save form data" box on the delete browsing history window, and it seemed to fix the double log in problem, but the "remember me" function still doesn't work, and I have to log in every time.  I assume that is a compter setting issue as well, but haven't found it yet.

John- When you go to log on and hit "proceed", it takes you back to the forum page but you are not signed in.  Log in again and it takes you to the discussions vs catagory window, and then you're in.  Again, i think it is a computer, not website problem.

Almost every time I sign in to BOS, not the test forum, I have to do it twice to be "signed in". "Save data form" does not help, "remember me" does not help either.

never heard that before. what OS and Browser are you using?

Can you check the new forum to see if you get the same thing?

Windows Vista w/ internet explorer 8.

How can you tell on the new forum if you are signed in?  I signed in, but nothing appeared to change and I didn't see anything saying I was signed in.

Hmmm was there still a message asking for you to log in? did you try to post?

No specific message asking me to sign in, just clicked on  "sign in"  and when clicked it prompted me for my name and password, which I entered and was directed back to the forum page which looked the same as before.  Nothing happened when I clicked on the "add a comment" icon so i couldn't post.

It said "Howdy Stranger" in the top right even after I tried to log in.  I would assume a successful log in would have changed that to "Howdy Marco"??

I am using my user name to log in and I get an error message "Sorry Permission denied" Did you block me???

Just tried to logon to the new forum again and this time it worked, and I was able to post.  I didn't do anything different, so not sure what the deal was...

John- The comment field was messing up.  Half the time nothing would happen when I made keystrokes.  It took 10 minutes to write "my pleasure"

IPhone: test forum; signed in one time no problem but it took me back to the main discussion page and not the page I was looking at. Was able to post.

I can avoid signing in, by going into the forums first, and then using the discussions tab it keeps me logged in. It has been this way for awhile.

in the last 20 miutes I was all over the map with settings on the test forum. It may have been me.

I think everyone has to sign in when they get to the forum every time.

If you are signing in on the front page.... that does nothing unless I have you set up to blog.
