Baller greghayes Posted October 18, 2010 Baller Share Posted October 18, 2010 Don't try this at home... http://sharing.theflip.com/session/19810c34bfac15c1b2df96449eb27707/video/20141011This was the combination of a loose Trakker mount and loose pylon (both noticed after the fact). After the handle pop, the FlipHD plastic body separated from the metal mounting bolt (which was still tightly screwed down to the Trakker).  Anyone else having durability issues with their Flips, before I write this off to a fluke and buy another one?
Bud Man
I made a bracket for my Kodak Play Sport that would probably work with your Flip. I will try to take some pictures and post later.
Bud Man
I cut a few pieces of angle aluminum threaded it and glued some rubber on it. I put my Kodak Play Sport in it and put a Velcro strap around it. The picture is so much better than it was with the camera mounted just to the bottom bolt. I also do not have to adjust the camera left to right angle each time. I just stick it in and ski.
Baller greghayes Posted October 21, 2010 Author Baller Share Posted October 21, 2010 That is a fine piece of work - thanks for sharing that photo. If you can do that in moderate volume, I bet trakker would sell that as an accessory.
