Skihack
I know they say a pic is a thousand words. Look at this pic and tell me what needs to be improved upon technique wise. Thanks.
Baller_ RichardDoane Posted October 30, 2009 Baller_ Share Posted October 30, 2009 a video clip would be way better
Baller skiep Posted October 30, 2009 Baller Share Posted October 30, 2009 Looks to be way to hard of pull for 15 or 22 off Keith
bmiller3536
Loading to early, she should be in that position directly behind the boat. She will never be able to hold that position through both wakes
Baller_ Bruce_Butterfield Posted October 30, 2009 Baller_ Share Posted October 30, 2009 Not bad if its 35 off. And an old Jobe to boot!Push the right hip forward, the left shoulder back and keep the eyes level - she'll be smokin. If it was easy, they would call it Wakeboarding
Baller Stevie Boy Posted October 31, 2009 Baller Share Posted October 31, 2009 Go on girl, give it MAXIMUM WELLY !      Awsome Lean, can you hold that through both wakes ?   or do you get pulled over with no transition, taking you tight into the bouy with loadsa speed.
h2odawg79
As stated above, hard to tell from a still shot, 1 angle etc... But, that is some very nice lean angle for what looks like long line. "If" this pic is consistant with the whole pass and I were the one in the pic. then I would want to see a little more "Hips up" (engaged pelvic/ core) with the Leading shoulder up & back ( more level and squared up to the boat) and eyes/head Level and focused on the pylon (with no regard to next buoy)... That's just what I would want to see if I were looking at myself.
Baller LakeOneSkier Posted October 31, 2009 Baller Share Posted October 31, 2009 Way too aggressive for the gates.

Skihack
Thanks for all the tips. Since migrating from the Jobe to a Goode, she improved by 4 whole passes within 8 weeks only skiing once a week due to school. Doesn't load up nearly as much. The Jobe just didn't have the speed that the Goode has. She is glued to the Goode now, she will try nothing else. Thanks again.
