Baller RichardDoane Posted January 9, 2009 Baller Share Posted January 9, 2009 When the Carbon River floods, the creeks back up into the Ski Park making it too full, and un-ski-able. RATS! That brown, nasty water reminds me of Winlock !
Baller DaveD Posted January 13, 2009 Baller Share Posted January 13, 2009 That's a bummer! Do you end up with a lot of sediment in the lake as a result of this?
Members matt_b
Zippy, Send some water down to Austin Texas please !
Baller RichardDoane Posted January 13, 2009 Author Baller Share Posted January 13, 2009 The sediment just puts a light coating on everything underwater. Not much of a build-up, but it takes a couple of months for the water to get back to the normal color. As for sending water to TX, I think towing a couple of icebergs from the South Pole would be the best bet!
