otisg
I was in Seattle in 1990 same thing happened. I had never been in a thunder & lightning/snow storm before that...The Seattle highway dept. had about 3 snowplows in those days .... just plain scary! Baller Roger Posted December 20, 2008 Baller Share Posted December 20, 2008 I just returned from a week of snow skiing at Breckenridge, Co. When we landed in Denver last Sunday, it was -16; the previous record low for that day in Denver was -6 in 1951!

Administrators Horton Posted December 29, 2008 Administrators Share Posted December 29, 2008 Global Warming is on its way to joining politics and religion as subjects that need not be discussed on friendly company. Ya know this forum is about skiing and the last thing I want to do is alienate someone who totally disagrees with me on this ….. but http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/columnists/christopherbooker/3982101/2008-was-the-year-man-made-global-warming-was-disproved.html BABE’S ★ California Ski Ranch ★ Connelly ★ Denali ★ Goode ★ KD Skis MasterCraft ★ MasterLine ★ PerfSki ★ Radar ★ Rodics Innovation Reflex ★ S Lines ★ Stokes

Baller skibug Posted January 6, 2009 Baller Share Posted January 6, 2009 I am sure the greenies will take some kind of credit and claim some kind of victory.
Old MS Accout
It is not global warming. It is climate change and the climate has been changing since day 1. We will be long gone and the earth will still be here. The old lady will weed us out just like the dinos. Burn that coal and fire up the Nukes . Baller skibug Posted January 6, 2009 Baller Share Posted January 6, 2009 the Earth goes through natural climate changes, our miniscul amount of pollution is not contrubuting to what is going on. The magnetic poles of the Earth have flipped more than once in it 4.5 billion year life too. I am guessing the greenies will be blaming that on us too. I am all for a cleaner environment and society; because it is the right thing to do, not for the reasons spewed about the global warming conspiracy.  For sure human presence on Earth will cease to exist one day; but, the only way humans will accomplish that is through total self anihalation, not through the cause and effect we have on the environment.
