Baller Roger Posted December 9, 2008 Baller Share Posted December 9, 2008 Well, I finally got to meet a ballofspray poster in person this past weekend when scoke dropped by Okeeheelee on Saturday. My friend John and I tried our best to spoil him; he took a set behind my boat (2002 SN with PP classic) in our East/West lake and another set behind John's boat (2008 SN with ZO) in our Turnpike lake. He also rode along for our sets. Ski tips and coaching were exchanged in both directions and we had pretty good weather with the air temp at 80 and water around 68.scoke, we had as much fun as you did buddy. It couldnt have been any better, well besides having to leave. Thager, that's pretty funny. I hauled straight to FLL and caught a flight back home that afternoon. That big spray on my right was probably yours. Thanks for washing the rental car for me! I hope to get back to Okee the weekend before  January 13th and maybe the weekend after. Thager, it was nice to finally put a face with your forum ID as well! You guys really picked the right weekend I think; the temp is falling rapidly and is supposed to go into the upper 20's tonight (about 28 is the prediction). Jonathan(Jfox) had a great time too. Thager and his ski were pretty funny, having a Florida ski and a Minn ski.  I could have easily skied a 3rd set (had time) but went with some rest and just hung out. We stayed there a while then ate a late lunch and headed out. Good stuff. Jfox and I took a ton of pics and I will prolly post some on the server after lunch. Also thanks to Jeff Smith for taking his time to pull me. John Sheely, thanks for letting me ride during Jfox's set. Your elbow tip really painted a picture for me! Wish I could have skied harder but my tweaked knee just wouldn't let me.  Scoke and Jfox it great to meet and spend the time with you! This old guy had a really great time. Jfox and i have been slammed full working for the man, prolly upload pics tonight. i had a monster bruise on my leg from Shealys platform!! the superbowl is blowing up my trip for the 30th. They jacked up the prices for all flights due to Tampa connection. Wouldn't mind kicking it on the 6th and 7th just need a reasonable place to stay. We've put 2 hours on it and pulled the same skier for 2 sets behind it. Did a Zero Off vs SG test/swap on the skier, hilarious results......
