anybody here use twitter? I have some ideas about using it for the new site...... did I say new site? It is comming....

I am looking to make a site that is more of a portal then an old fashion site. There are 300 or 400 skiers who look around at the forums every week and then a lot more who only come by once a month or so. If I am going to get that second group to come back more often I need to give them more. Besides that I love the idea of getting news on the fly. Someone was in West Palm and saw....... Or someone skied with Andy and .....

I was ready to give up on Twitter. Then Toby agreed to report on Moomba, Laurie agreed to use it for the BigDawg and now Marcus is all over it. If you follow my personal feed there is not much there right now but I will use it as a ski log this summer.

Also: In December I mentioned the few hundred skiers visit the site. Attached is a report that shows I may have missed a decimal place.

Back in Dec you guys did not get it . . . . are you on board yet? Do you at least look at the feed on the home page to see what is going on?
