REVO
I would appreciate any advice on buying a new ski. I am 40 years old, 185 lbs and have skied for about 30 years. 10-15 years ago, I would say I could really ski (at least recreationally as there weren't many courses around although for a couple years ran them two or three times a week). Rarely run a course anymore and didn't ski much for the last 5 or 6 years since I have four young kids. Skiing more this year but only a couple of times a week but like to think I am still really getting after it when I do. Last ski I bought was an HO in 1993 or so and I have no idea what to buy. I demo'd the Radar Senate and hated it. Seemed to really drag out of the hole and on turns. Trying a Connelly Concept now and I liked it. Anyone know much about this ski? Any idea how it compares to the F1 or F1X which would probably be my next choice? Guess I am afraid of not buying enough ski but also looking for something to help me a bit more than the HO now that I am a bit...older.Thanks in advance. Administrators Horton Posted August 15, 2008 Administrators Share Posted August 15, 2008 Revo,Are you sure that the bindings were in the right place on the Senate? It really is a very solid mid range ski.F1x is also a great ski at 32 mph or less.
