Maybe this news has already traveled but, don't buy that new boat just yet.  We get a chance to let the folks at ZO know how much we appreciate the stellar customer service that they have provided to us this year.  Their prompt attention to our concerns and complaints really should be rewarded in the market place.  Below are two emails from our friends at PerfectPass:

Hi Dave, Our intent next year is to offer our software with an extra mode under Slalom to be a ZO simulator.  Since they are still making changes will will have to wait & see where they end up before we can complete this project.

It is not a secret that this is our intent. Many skiers are hoping that they will continue to make changes that will result in a pull more closely related to PP. In any event, through software we can simulate I believe the pull they end up with.
This is something we would make available early next spring.

Funny!  Remember Accuski had the "Hammer Mode" that was supposed to simulate Perfect Pass?  It all goes full circle...

I don't understand why the market leader doesn't "simulate" the technical leader instead of the other way around.

Thanks for posting that email.

This is what a couple of us have been saying was going to happen for quite a while now. It makes the most sense business wise, engineering, and software technology wise.

Huge market share for the 97-2006 boats who have upgraded to Gazer. We'll gladly drop another $400 for Gazer-ZO Hybrid next year. Then there are tons of 97-2006 owner who'll go from 5.0PP straight to the hybrids. Big revenue!
