JAYK
I own an SS and absolutley hate to adjust the fin, anyone know of any other to replace it with in the existing holes? HO, Goode and Radar are all no good, any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
Baller ForrestGump Posted June 14, 2008 Baller Share Posted June 14, 2008 The new Line Lock fin box is nice. Very easy to adjust.
JAYK
The "line lock" is the fin block I have on my SS. I'm just used to using the Goode, HO and Fischer's with set screws which seems to help me get the job done faster and easier to the finer detail, the Obrien block is a pain, tough to get exact #'s on it.
Thomas Wayne
It's very easy to add tapped holes on top for adjustment screws, and the "Line Lock" block already has a tapped hole at the back (into which you can insert a stainless set screw).  If you don't have the tools handy in your own garage, go buy 10 minutes from a friendly machinist. Baller skibug Posted June 14, 2008 Baller Share Posted June 14, 2008 Have you looked at D3. The use set screws on theirs. Very quick and easy to adjust. 3 clamping screws, 3 adjustment set screws.
