Baller Roger Posted May 6, 2008 Baller Share Posted May 6, 2008 We had 14 gates pulled at our 3rd Record at Okeeheelee this weekend, more than any tournament I've ever officiated at. All 14 were ZO. My theory: PP and SG come into the gates about .5mph hot. ZO comes in at actual speed. I know when I pulled out for the gates in the first round, I was surprised how slow the glide seemed. I almost thought they put in 52k instead of 55k. I think this slight difference in speed (slower) is causing peoples timing to be ever so slightly off. The skiers missing the gates was across the board from g1 to MM and even OM. Thoughts?
