Alright,  I am trying to install my new PP gage.  My dashboard is all fiberglass from the underside.  I can only access the gages by removing the cowling from above.  It seems as though I will have to remove the steering column as well to get the dash off far enogh to get access to the gages.  Anyone else have any advice or tricks?.........And yes,I know I can take it to the dealer; but, I am stubborn.......

I had a similar discussion with my ski partner over dinner last night and we decided there would be no drinking while we do the install.

I figured it out.  I was looking at the wrong screws.  On the malibu, there are 2 screws on the emblem (in the middle of the dash) and one directly up, in front of the middle gauge, on the inside of the cowling.

Loosened them all and the gauge assmebly popped right out.  I feel dumb.......
