Baller skibug Posted February 16, 2008 Baller Share Posted February 16, 2008 Alright, I am trying to install my new PP gage. My dashboard is all fiberglass from the underside. I can only access the gages by removing the cowling from above. It seems as though I will have to remove the steering column as well to get the dash off far enogh to get access to the gages. Anyone else have any advice or tricks?.........And yes,I know I can take it to the dealer; but, I am stubborn....... Administrators Horton Posted February 16, 2008 Administrators Share Posted February 16, 2008 I had a similar discussion with my ski partner over dinner last night and we decided there would be no drinking while we do the install.   Support BallOfSpray by supporting the companies that support BallOfSpray California Ski Ranch ☆ Connelly ☆ Denali ☆ Eden Lake ☆ Goode ☆ HO Syndicate ☆MasterCraft ☆ Masterline ☆ Pentalago ☆ Performance Ski and Surf ☆ Reflex ☆ Radar ☆ Rodics OffCourse ☆ S Lines ☆ Stokes About Horton
Baller skibug Posted February 16, 2008 Author Baller Share Posted February 16, 2008 I figured it out. I was looking at the wrong screws. On the malibu, there are 2 screws on the emblem (in the middle of the dash) and one directly up, in front of the middle gauge, on the inside of the cowling.Loosened them all and the gauge assmebly popped right out. I feel dumb.......
