Baller disland Posted February 7, 2008 Baller Share Posted February 7, 2008 I was curious if anyone has experieince enough riding multiple skis of the same year, model and manufacturer, if there is much variation. Certainly not all are the same but to amatures how much do skis differ one to the other in the same manufactured bunch. With the same set up can an average skier tell the difference? Members auskier
a good example of this difference recently has been between the earlier jobe mpd and radar mpd.can anyone who knows for sure shed some light on the differences? because from what i have been told there is a great deal of difference in how they ski.
Old MS Accout
This is why all the pros get bunches of the same ski to find the one they like.
Baller eleeski Posted February 11, 2008 Baller Share Posted February 11, 2008 I can't build two skis that are alike - so why should the real manufacturers. Of course I don't know how to use calipers properly. And I can't tell exactly what grit my sandpaper is...Eric
Baller DW Posted February 11, 2008 Baller Share Posted February 11, 2008 Yes, there is variation between same ski's. Better process, less variation
