slalomdude
Looking at DFT measurements from D3, I have found conflicting information. On their website, there is a 0.050 difference in measuring with needle vs flats. On a ski set up sheet provided by them, there is a .040 diference between the methods. I prefer to use the flats method as I never find the needle method to be repeatable. Does anyone know if there is a constant conversion factor between the methods, or does it vary from caliper to caliper.
Administrators Horton Posted February 7, 2008 Administrators Share Posted February 7, 2008 It depends on the caliper and yes this is a pain the the a$$. For a D3 if you are not sure I would call Paul.
