Baller ScarletArrow Posted January 21, 2008 Baller Share Posted January 21, 2008 The RAIL's look like retro high top BB shoes circa 1988.
HO 410
Hey John,Are these boots going to take you off you Wileys?
Administrators Horton Posted January 22, 2008 Author Administrators Share Posted January 22, 2008 I think so. Of the new bindings, I think the Radar will be the best.  With my Wiley’s I have extensively tweaked them so I can have performance and far greater safety then stock bindings. I think that I can get that from the new Radars (without using any epoxy or a grinder). I used Hardshells for years and loved the comfort and performance but I now limp every morning because of it. . . . I now do not trust any of the hardshell products on the market. HO 410
Well here is the million dollar question. If I am even just a little curious about giving these bindings try, how quickly should I jump on getting a pair ordered? I suppose phrased another way, are these boots going to be as elusive the Fisher skis were/are?

Baller RichardDoane Posted January 26, 2008 Baller Share Posted January 26, 2008 I finally took a big crash in my Radar Boots. I had the laces tight, and there was no way they could come off. I think it's better to have both feet stay in, versus just one foot coming out. As for satisfaction, they're really comfortable, have great edge control, and now that the water is in the low 40's in Washington, they keep your feet from freezing. I think anyone who likes Hard Shells will be happy.
